I got called in to work a closing shift tonight.
Oh, but on my break, I did sketches for you. Oh yes. I was going to scan them when I got home.
I left my sketchbook at work. I won’t be there to get it back until Wednesday, probably.
There’s not much in that one, mind, but I’m worrying and racking my brain trying to figure out if there’s anything potentially embarrassing in there… I don’t draw porn or anything, and there weren’t any ‘hate my job/hate so-and-so’ rants, but I’m still very very anxious.
oh, and I haven’t caught tonight’s Heroes yet, either. Going to go to bed and catch it tomorrow (everyone’s asleep).

I think I’ll just settle for these two today and do either four days of two or two days of three. I keep getting interrupted mid-drawing and having to step away for like twenty minutes at a time and it’s throwing me off.
Apologies for missing the time in the first place - I found out I was able to go to the Zombie Walk at the last minute and spent several nights digging through my closet and getting my hands dirty putting something together.
This is Red Jewel. Not 100% on the costume, but it’s a decent start. Mostly I wanted to play around with a more dynamic pose.
Another girl in green. I like this one better than the last one I did. She has more… character, I guess. Less stiff. More… organic?
She might be Somebody, but you’ll never know until you see her again, eh?

No sketch yesterday, I know. I worked a crazy day yesterday and then came home and screwed around with craft stuff for the rest of the night.
Two today. Promise. And actual good ones, too.
I promised I’d try every day. I never once said they’d always be good. This is a god-awful tablet scrawl I knocked out in ten minutes and it’s all kinds of awkward. I’ll probably re-do it in traditional media to do it justice. But not tonight, because I have work in the morning, doggone it.
(I was artistic today, I promise, just not in ways that lend themselves to posting here right away.)

This is nobody in particular, just a generic sketch I banged out for the sake of doing something. I’m going to try and do one new thing on the tablet every day, just to get a better feel for it.
